What’s This All About?

Posted by John Crutchfield on December 18, 2009

Hi There

I thought I’d write a short bit about the subject material(s) about which I’ll be writing in the beginning here.

As the blog title says, Creation Toolbox. I’m interested in sharing things which have helped me & others on our path observing & using the Law of Attraction and how that concept/perspective and others have served as virtual tools to create a bit more of a feeling of participation & success in the process of cultivating creativity on this seemingly endless work in progress I refer to as my life experience. (Ok I know that was a long sentence, but the emphasis is on “work in progress” here…especially my writing skills…thanks for understanding.)

Basically I want to offer approaches & perspectives which can help make life here on earth Fun!

My interests are wide and varied here, so if you enjoy an eclectic mix of subjects, you might enjoy checking in from time to time…

For example, a few of the topics I want to share with you include, cellular regeneration…how our body’s natural natural self-healing mechanism works and how we can encourage it scientifically & optimally. Another topic is neurochemistry and the BodyMind connection…how science is now describing how our thoughts actually do effect our body and emotions via the chemical we produce with each thought…for good or ill…Awareness and how we can use it to our advantage to get more of what we want. And my current journey in the realm of wealth creation, wealth building, financial independance and what we can do to experience ease and wellbeing in our personal financial world…(the book, “Four Hour Work Week” by Tim  Ferris comes to mind.)

I’ll also be writing about anything which can serve us in creating self-reliance and self-empowerment which is my large passion. I’m really interested in passing on anything which can help us all experience being full-fledged members of a Human Family of Freedom & Wellbeing. As a Tibetan Bhuddist monk wrote, “… all living and conscious beings share two things: Everyone wants to be happy and avoid suffering…” Sounds good to me…

A friend who has had Cerebral Palsy since birth mentioned the other day to me, “I strive to see myself as a victor rather than a victim.”  (He also has a new T-shirt  he’s designing to read on the front, “I’m not drunk, I’m Special!”) Anyway, I’ll be writing more on those things & people which have inspired me and which have been effective in the past in addition to current things as they come down the pike.

Today, my friend Bill S. sent me a link to an amazing video on YouTube which is a 6 minute tour through the known Universe created by The American Museum of Natural History…totally awesome! and I mean that in the original and literal sense of the word as in “to inspire awe” or “being filled with awe”. So right click (for you PC users) or control click (for those Mac heads out there) the link below and open it in a new browser page or tab and enjoy a small glimpse into infinity….

(Fret not, if you click the link directly because there’s always the “back” button…)

Someday I’ll learn how to embed the entire video window here on the blog…(oh for webmaster skills…)

Until then, like yours truly, this blog is a giant work in progress…thank you for your patience and feedback.

Ok, it’s getting late and I have to get on with the next move on the planet here.

Thanks for reading this and tune in for more later…

Next up: One thing common to every spiritual practice, religion, and miracle on planet earth.

Hmmm….what could it be?

Until the future becomes the present…

May all beings be happy!

Peace & Love

Special beings are God’s way (or Buddha or?) of making us stop to think about what’s possible even in a body that doesn’t seem to work correctly all the time. I have in mind a man named J.D. who has trouble being understood, but has so much compassion for all beings that he makes me feel inadequate at times. Cerebral palsy takes many forms and if you’re lucky enough to know someone who has it, you’re lucky enough… Good thoughts to everyone, thanks for the wonderful posts; great site John…

Amazing video on the Known Universe. Makes you feel totally small in the scheme of things. Thanks!
